Hey Ma and Pa, what the hell is wrong with ya...
10:35 a.m. | 2002-11-04 I am now 24. I had such a nice birthday. I went to greasy diner for breakfast and Pt. Reyes Nat'l Seashore for a ten mile hike in the morn with Craig, Lyndsay and Jakki. In the eve, I went to the brewery with the rest of the "crew" and then to the house for beers, Jagermeister, tomfoolery, rum, mad foosball (Kori and I went undefeated on the night...AGAIN!) and a birthday jam session with Dan and Kori. Yesterday I went to see "Bowling For Columbine" and recommend it to anyone. It was so funny, so smart, makes ya think, disturb ya and makes ya feel. I cried in the theatre. On another note, I got to go see Jackson Browne and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last week. Dan won tickets on the radio the morning of the show (took me as a birthday present) and as we were walking in a couple offered us 2 free seat tickets, which we took gladly, and just think. If we hadn't been drinking whiskey and beer in the parking lot beforehand, we never would have met those people. Thanks, booze! I am so blessed or that is my general feeling. Life is nice, so don't live in fear. Bad things happen and you move on. And please, put away the guns. |
