Take a look at this house, turned a'upside down...

What an incredibly tiring, satisfying weekend I had. Saturday morning, I woke early to go help fix up a house that is going to be used as a house for mentally ill to live in; a little community house. We were to clean up the property, paint the fence, weed, take down trees and bushes and help with a little garden box. I, personally was on tree and bush removal. I destroyed a couple bushes and about 4 trees on my lonesome. What a great release it is to let loose and cut branches off and pull a tree out with your bare hands. I also had to carry assorted heavy items. People tend to come to me to carry heavy things. After cleaning the house, we all went to a Health Fair (lots of booths, a bike fair, live music, face painting, the tooth fairy, free food/drink etc.) we were also putting on to meet up and reflect and have lunch. This was all for Cesar Chavez day.

Afterwards, after clean-up, everyone went home, showered and then Dan, Anna, Paul, Jakki, Liz, Whitney, Alicia, Jenny and I went out to jasper O'Farrells in Sebastapol for a few drinks. I got to meet Jenny from Michigan (she was the tooth fairy). It is so good to have a fellow Michigan kid out here. She went to Kalamazoo, which is pretty close to Marshall. She is definately cool. She has done so much in her life, so many intriguing things. She is such a full soul and worth getting to know much better. After Jasper's, Dan, Liz, me and Jenny went back to the homested where we drank some more beer and watched some TV and played some foosball and got tall and taller. Dan and I had a card showdown, old West style. We sat about 3 feet from each other and flicked cards at each others faces for about half a deck, after I got a few nice shots on Dan's Adam's apple and one across the bridge of his nose. I am sure he got some nice shots in on me too. SOOO MUCH FUN!!! Since we were all up so early, the last of us made it till only midnight. I slept very well on the floor. I always sleep on the floor. I like the comfort.

Sunday, Jenny, Dan and I made coffee, juiced some juice and made some pancakes for the household. Since I don't eat panckaes, I had sourdough with Peanut Butter and I couldn't have been happier. By 1, Dan, Jenny, Paul, Jakki, Anna, Danielle and I had all piled into Dan's VW bus and were headed to the beach right North of Bodega Head. One of the first things I did was jump in the frigid Pacific a couple of times. All the small cuts I had got the day before from destroying bushes and trees started to sting. Hahaha. The day was lazy and we had a bottle of wine. We tossed around the football, played some hack, ran the dunes back to Dan's bus for water and a volleyball, played some fun volleyball games and some soccer-PK game. At one point in time, we went to the dunes and smoked grass in a circle of friends. On the way back home, we all stopped for seafood, except I don't eat seafood, so I stole some fries. I was so tired. I slept so well that night again on the floor and now it is morning. Good morning, sunshine! I am sore.
