Well, I am accepted into the California Conservation Corp and I am to begin my tour of duty on the 19th of this month. I am doing 6 weeks in Humboldt Redwoods State Park and 3 1/2 months in the Shasta-Trinity Alps. I am awfully excited at everything I will learn and experience. The only major bummer of it all is that I am in love and will have to be not in the next town over from Amelia. I just don't want to hurt her or for her to feel sad. I want to spend so much time with her and I know we will and we will be happy and amazing and so full of love for a long time and that gives me a warm feeling. I hope she and others visit me. I need to do so much before then and money will be tight, but it has been tight for years in the life of Ray. I spent the whole weekend with Amelia and I loved it all.
